Welcome back. I am Lara Jaye, and you are listening to the Wisdom Within Podcast. And on today's episode, I am warning you ahead of time. Our topic may be controversial for you. We are talking about God, angels and your Spirit team. As a reminder, this season one is an overview of my newest book, the Wisdom Within Cracking, the Secrets of Meaning, purpose, and Security. In this book, I weave lots of personal stories with practical guidance, providing you with a roadmap to unlock your inner potential and find greater meaning and security within yourself. So the reason today's episode could be controversial, this is why I'm going to get straight to it. I personally talk to the great I am God, source, spirit, universe, whatever name you want to call creator, divine mother, father, every single day and throughout the day, my angels, archangels, guides, higher self specific, ascended masters also hear from me simultaneously.

So I make it a habit not just to talk but to also listen intently. Prayer for me is when I'm doing all the talking and meditating is when I get quiet and listen to guidance. I believe that the angels are, the creator's, creations, everything, positive, negative, good, bad if you're going to label it every one. Everything was created by our creator, the source, the universal consciousness, the great I am God. I believe that the angels and others are God's hands and feet. Now, this information may not fit into the four walls of your specific church doctrine box, but here's the thing, it may also not fit into your metaphysical box. I am not here to fit into a box and especially not somebody else's box. I'm not here to appease you, your church or make you feel comfortable. I'm here to tell you my truth as God has personally guided and showed me.

And as always, please, please use your own discernment. Check in with your gut on what resonates with you, and let the rest go. I can't wait to dig into this chapter. It is chapter three in my book called She Talks to Angels, that Black Crow song, my fascination with these higher dimensions began at a really young age as a child. I had an imaginary friend, John Peaker, and John was always by my side until I was about eight years old. So I tell this story, obviously I'm not going to read you the whole book. I have lots of other things to cover in this episode, but it's a really fascinating story about my imaginary friend and how the light language came through and how I would communicate with him. Talking with John always gave me great comfort.

I always felt like he was there by my side and at eight years old, after some trauma in my life, I shut him down and never saw him again until my mid forties when he came back and I realized that he was more of a guardian angel, it felt like to me more of a guardian angel and maybe that's what he was doing when I was a child, when I was scared and I was going through things and imaginary friends, I write a lot about all of the statistics on them and how common they really are for kids, especially kids who don't feel safe. And I didn't feel safe. I just didn't feel safe.

One of the things that happened when I started to awaken and John came back as my guardian angel, but a lot of other guides and spirit team started to come in as well. My intuitive centers were very, very open and I personally believe that we are all intuitive. It's just how open are we? I see, hear, feel, and know all four at the same time. So you may have one that maybe you just see or maybe you just hear a lot of other people just have a knowing I do all four because this is what I do and I practice it every single day. It's like a muscle. So again, I believe everyone is intuitive. It's just do you want to see? Do you want to hear? Do you want to feel? Do you want to know what is it that you want? And that's what you can open up to.

So in my mid forties when I was opening up and the guardian angels came back, many other spirit team guides also came in. My guides all have a different energy they emit that tells me who they are and what their purpose is. So some have specific names, some don't. Some have really long names, maybe other planetary names or they're not something that our alphabet can even comprehend. I was doing a client session the other day and the couple of land spirits that came through, they had such long indigenous native names that they said, Hey, just call us Fred and Billy. And I thought that was great. I personally try not to get caught up in their actual name, but we humans, we want to label everything. So if it does help you to ask for their name, please do. I want to know who someone is and their energy regardless of their name.

So I'm really particular about what energy, what angel, what spirits I allow into my life. And that is very important for you as well because when I was first opening up, I would talk to whoever showed up. I was being bothered at all hours and honestly it felt like every Tom, Dick and Harry wanted to chat with and if they appeared, I thought I had to be the one to talk to them or help them often to my demise. So when you're first opening up, this is really important to know this, that you have to have discernment and you have to have boundaries just like we have to have discernment and boundaries with who we hang out with and who we allow in our life and the physical. We need to do the same for the spiritual. I had supernatural visits from a high school ex-boyfriend who was detoxing in rehab, my father-in-law who had just passed and others I really didn't know by name.

I believed I had to talk to them. Why? Because they showed up. And as time passed, I became a lot more discerning with whom I allowed to talk to me from the other side of the veil. And this is very important for all of us. And soon I was so specific that only the highest frequency angel spirits and guides came through because just because they're on the other side or they're in spirit sometimes doesn't mean that they're better or no better than you. Sometimes their job is to confuse sabotage or distract you. The lower frequency beings often look for a light to guide them as well. Sometimes even across the veil, a soul can be lost or unable to find their way and you may be that shining light like a moth to a flame that they can see. So trust yourself and trust that inner guidance if something feels off it most likely is.

And so this brings me to a topic I've really never heard talked about before, and we could have a spirit on our spirit team that isn't helping us. Now the energy could be great grandma or a deceased relative who loves you so much and wants to help you but maybe they don't understand your purpose in this lifetime disguises themselves as love and light to get you off course by giving you bad advice. There's also confusion, distraction, distortion or trickster energies that is being used all the time to derail people and not as often, but I have seen other people's spirits attach to people. Now this is quite complicated as you were whole and complete, yet a deceased energy has glued themselves to you. So no matter the reason you've agreed to it at some level, so many of these energies have been with people since birth and others come later in life and spirit created the light and the dark.

So in addition to discerning who comes through from the spirit world and their intentions, we must understand that much darkness on earth is being disguised in the light. So before hanging out with them, we must know other people's energies and purposes. I really encourage all of us to keep our BS meter on. We're not always safe at church or among so-called spiritual people and just like I said, in real life, toxic low frequency friends will show up. The question isn't if it's when and then what will we do with them and at what cost to ourselves. I personally had to learn how to block these new toxic friends whose only motive was to bother or distract me. I want you to know that you are in charge and you can tell your spirit team who you want on it and who you don't. It's your choice.

I can always tell too, when I'm getting ready to uplevel, because I'm tested in many, many ways and I believe the dark lead is using many conscious and even heart-centered people during this time of awakening, especially the sensitive, empathetic types who are around many people, they're soaking up others' energy, they're weakening their systems, they're allowing for an accessible entrance of more infiltration of darkness. Now these dark energies have an agenda of evil and to put any one pure at heart from spreading love and light, many popular spiritual teachers who are shining bright right now actually get their power from something other than the highest frequencies. So if you take the time to use your discernment, read others' energy, you would see where their dark power is coming from. I believe everybody is on their journey. It's not for us to judge however, we must choose who we will allow to be on our journey with us. Who do you want to play in your sandbox? Discernment is of the utmost importance as we move forward within this really unique landscape that we are in.

I talk a lot about in this chapter on trickster energies, helping you to be aware of what's really out there and also angels and the purpose of angels and what the Bible actually says about angels and how they can help us. The most important thing to know about angels is that their hands are tied. We have free will here on earth and they can't do anything unless we actually ask for help, unless the only time they can intervene is if it's not our time and there's an accident of some sort. They're allowed to intervene. Otherwise they're waiting for us to ask for help. They're waiting for us to ask for guidance and just know that you have an entire spirit team who is on your side. The key is really taking the time to get to know them. Who is on the team? Are they speaking to you in unison and how are they speaking to you?

How are they speaking to you intuitively? Are you seeing them? Are you hearing them? Maybe you have that knowing or the feeling. Some people are just super empathetic and feel everybody's everything. So this particular chapter in my book among many others, but this one in particular has created quite a Easter amongst my Christian family and friends to the point that loved ones are furious at me for this information and literally throwing Bible verses at me, citing me that they want me to publicly repent for what they believe are my sins. Now, to me that feels very much like a modern day witch hunt of sorts. What's so fascinating about this is I was that person years ago when I was in the church. My husband and I raised our kids in a Methodist church in Midwest, Indiana. I was the one who judged all those people who said they heard from God. I condemned others with my holier than thou attitude. I'm better than you because I go to church six days a week and you sleep in on Sunday mornings. I taught Bible studies, I studied the word. I had a very martyred sacrifice attitude and I thought everyone else was selfish. I felt sorry for them. So I needed to make sure that they were saved or I need to judge them on how faithful they really are.

Be careful what you put out there. It comes back. Just a month ago, a pastor of a relative's church was throwing literally Bible verses at me, telling me as the right to judge me according to his scripture stating that the Catholic Bible is wrong because they believe in purgatory and questioning me if I was ever really saved. He believes that his church and the only one with the truth. It's interesting because the Catholics, the Mormons, almost all of the denominations believe they have it all right, and the others don't. Let me be crystal clear, I don't think any of them or myself have it a hundred percent correct, nor will we even know until we are on the other side of the veil that is pure arrogance and ego if we believe that. And one of the main attacks on me has been that I talk to demons and I'd like to really publicly address that right now because frankly, yes I do.
(15:48):
When I'm commanding them out of someone in the name of Jesus, I command them out and I hand them back to Jesus. It's also really important not to throw them over on your neighbor. We've been taught how to do this in the Bible yet why am I not allowed? Is it because I'm a woman or maybe because I don't have a degree as an ordained minister of a specific church or that I'm not doing it in a church under a man when I was still married and a lot of these healing abilities and this information was coming through in the light language, I did go to the pastor of our church and at that time it was not a Methodist church. It was a different one. And he basically said because I wasn't doing it in the church under him that it was wrong and that it was not of God.

Now, I don't believe that for one minute. So I'm not doing loved ones or anyone, any service by repenting and dumbing myself down. So if I do, I may as well start taking antidepressants like I had to in my marriage, curl up like a ball and not be who God created me to be. I personally have asked God over and over what do I need to change? What do I need to learn in this? If I need to change something in me, my business, please, please tell me. I am actually open to hearing and I hear no stand firm. You're not doing anything wrong.

I've dedicated my life to service to God and to the greater cause. I know it doesn't fit in a box. It is not meant to. It is not meant to be kept in the four walls of a church. God is leading me and guiding me outside of the church to the edges of the world to make a difference in lives. How it looks to others is none of my business. And for now my lesson is to trust. To trust and keep handing this over to God. I see this church that wants me so desperately to repent their prayers are black smoke going up to the heavens. It's one thing to have the dark energies block you because they don't want my light in the world. But I certainly never thought that the church, the light, supposedly the group that's supposed to be love and light would try to take me down as well.

I want you to know that Jesus is there. Jesus is on my side and on their side in the middle, helping, guiding, protecting, leading us all to the best of our abilities. And when the time is right, the veil will be lifted and there will be reconciliation. For now, my job is to keep my heart open and unconditional love flowing. No matter, regardless of what people are saying, regardless of what people are doing, and even when I feel like my human heart is being roto rooted, I am continually being called to love, to open to more love, to give more love, to be love.

My connection with God, the creator, the angels, my spirit team is of utmost importance to me. They God is my source of everything. My source for creative ideas, my source of love, my source of friendship, my source of flow, guidance, support, you name it, I'm in prayer and then I'm listening. I invite you to join me in going within meeting that soul, that God that lives inside of you, to tap in to the creator that lives in you and outside of you that lives in everything. To feel the power, the source of all. Allow yourself to open to the intuitive messages from your creator. Without that connection with, without that everyday connection, it's much harder to live a life in flow and ease and love and grace, thank you so much for hanging out with me today.
